Rude management - Date: May 2016 I visited the leasing office and the lady at the office was very rude. First few minutes she didnt even pay attention forget about greetings. Then when I asked for two bed rooms she gave me the brochure (Which I could easily get online) then started staring at Computer without typing anything :) When I asked questions she rudely answered everything is mentioned in Brochure. Overall review about Somerset Mews I have been living in Somerset Mews since end of 2009. Overall I did like the community, I have really nice neighbors that are super friendly. I am not really a walking around type of person, so cant say too much about the community as a whole, but the few times that I did walk around the complex people seems to be nice. Please When I see things like this it really just brightens up my day. My mother is a woman of three kids a single mother and struggling. I help as much as possible but do not have the highest paying job. We struggle to pay all the rent. When that happens often the food in our house runs low as well. My mother always has a smile on her face and tells us to stay positive. She really does the best she can. I just really wish I could pay her back for everything she has done and this would be so perfect.
Oxford Arms I've lived in several complexes and this one is the best. Office Manager is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Maintenance is good. Landscapers could be better. The best thing is that the residents are friendly and courteous. Free shuttle to the Edison Train Station for residents. Use of pool is extra but not required. No gym onsite but plenty in area. Have access to shopping galore! Very kid friendly. Accepts pets.
Somersret mews Very nice place to live . Spacious and nice apparent only problem with this appartment is staff there and super's need to change there bad attitude
Writing this to enter the sweepstakes, but I still hope it is helpful I've been living at Somerset Mews since about August of 2010, so approximately five years. On the whole, I have had a great experience there, though it started off a little bumpy. The bumpy start wasn't really the staff's fault - there were two kids (maybe early twenties) living in the building adjacent to mine who appeared to be heavy drug users. Excellent Rental Community with Great Amenities Oxford Arms is an excellent rental community away from the hustle bustle of the city yet very well connected to the city with some great amenities. Each apartment has its own washer/dryer and centralized heating and air conditioning with ample storage spaces. Community also has a Pool, Playground and also a Tennis Court. newly renovated Newly renovated apartment at Somerset mews! Beautiful updated kitchen with new appliances and countertops. The kitchen/dining room/ living room space is nice and open. There is a nice patio with sliding door that opens to a beautifully kept courtyard. Good closet space for 1-2 people. Central air and heat is a great option to have. Very good community I would like to respond to the review by Dave. I've been a tenant her for 2 3\4 years and I must totally disagree with Dave. The community is filled with good people, middle to upper middle class families. The leasing agent is quite helpful. We moved here from NYC in 2011 and it was the best move we made.
