LYING TO GET YOU TO BUY Cedar lane never lists the actual amount of their units. If you call every unit that is actually available is NEVER the same prices as the units listed. Jackie is the property manager for this property. i spoke with her on three separate occasions and each time she gave me a higher rental price than what was listed. just go elsewhere. dont rent from people who are too lazy to be honest.
Not the best This property doesn't feel it is maintained well and repairs aren't fully made. Paint constantly peeling off the walls and things are always breaking. It's basically just old. Maintenance is very responsive but you really are paying to live in Morristown because this place is not worth what they charge. Either rebuild or charge what it's actually worth. Things breaking down all the time and parking first come first serve.
NOT WORTH IT I have never seen so many bugs in my entire life -- ants, giant crickets, beetles, and spiders so large that I have been having nightmares. Not to mention I have had 2 nails in my tire in the last 4 months which is becoming a costly problem. If you have more than 1 vehicle, parking is a nightmare. And shady neighbors will end up stealing all of your packages. They will also smoke right outside of your apartment so that all you can smell at any point of the day is cigarettes or weed. they steal & liars also rude When I first came their pictures didn’t match the property I had to request to see their better looking apartments. Yes it was nice but now my bathroom keeps getting mold on the Walls. I’ve asked them to come to check it out nobody has even come out I ended up cleaning it myself. Falling apart and bug infested Place is so old—which means foundation has issues, gaps in windows and doors allows water and bugs to get through. I’ve had every infestation of insect due to this...it’s as thought I’m living in an unkept basement Always killing spiders, silverfish, and other gross insects. I love the location and area, but the problems with structure really takes away from the pleasant. Even with a renovated apartment. You’ll still find a lot of issues!
Excellent Community This is one of the Very Good Communities we moved from California. we lived here for 2 years. Everything is easily accessible. Kid-friendly and Safe environment. Management is very good and the Leasing office manager Stacy is very kind, good and knowledgeable. This community has a lot of trees and is close to nature. Happily lived here and won't hesitate to come back to this community in case we get a chance. Strongly recommend.
Greedy, Horible, hypocritical unprofesional people Most disorganized unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered. would never recommend renting or doing any business with any property they own ever. They run on greed and do not care about the happiness of their tenants at all. Claim to be "godly" but are ruled by greed. Overall review of my stay in Somerset Mews Lived for a short time but I would rate it excellent. Chris is just too good. She is highly responsive & always have a resolution for you. She is very particular & efficient office bearer. The apartments are big & has ample parking space. I wish it had more lamps otherwise very well managed. It's pretty safe & you have all different cuisine nearby either on Rt-27 or US-1. They clear the snow & fallen trees quickly to clean the roads.
Current Resident I moved to Oxford Arm apartment 10 month back from another state. The apartment is old and not well maintained, the electrical appliances are old and break very frequently. The maintenance is poor and I think its expected in Edison or may be NJ. For me, the only good thing is the wooden flooring and near to Edison station. The leasing agent is good lady and responds promptly. The landscaping too is poor.
