I have been a patient at Somerset Foot and Ankle for over 4 years- first with Dr. Thiele and now with Dr. Dong. Dr. Thiele and his staff are great. I have Charcot’s and needed an ankle arthroscopy due to severe Charcot’s foot problem. Dr Dong was new to the practice and in August 2025, I made the correct decision and had surgery with Dr. Dong. Dr. Johnny Dong was very cordial and informative. He took care of a thorn I had on my foot, very quickly and painlessly. I would recommend Dr. Dong.
Dr Thiel is absolutely amazing. He's being taking care of my entire family and morning but great care. Over the years we had ingrown nails, hairline fracture, stripped nail and a few more. Everybody always received top notch care with the heart. Dr Thiel was very attentive and listened to everything we had to say, including taking his time with my kids, one after soccer injury and another after running injury.
I was referred to Dr. Thiele by a doctor that was closer to where I work. He couldn’t do the surgery at the hospital or the surgery center because of the Covid booster law. He referred me to his colleague and he said you won’t be sorry. I called and spoke with Jackie and she was very friendly and informative and I got an appointment right away. I met Dr. Thiele as a second opinion and when I met him I felt very confident immediately because he explained everything to me what to expect, and the best thing was hearing that I didn't need to have surgery. Then after a month and three weeks I was already wearing my sneakers and driving preparing to return to work (with restrictions) exactly two months after breaking my metatarsals 4 and 5 I went back to work .
