I've been getting my medications with Summer set Drugs for 10 years and the service is excellent. The owner is personable and vey knowledgeable and the pharmacists always take time to explain everything. They know me by name and they are on top of my meds every month.
Incredibly disappointed at the lack of empathy and judgement that 'Andrew' throws around on phone calls. It was covered with language of 'we have a responsibility to ensure....' but lacked any actual empathy. His tone was demeaning and almost contrite. Apparently you can only need some medications if you are an addict and dont have a legitimate reason to ask without a doctor's note, even for over the counter. I am in absolute shock. Terrible service, in a bad area of Ottawa.
This pharmacy was great for decades, but ever since the younger staff took over, the service has gone downhill and they only do the bare minimum. The current team lacks empathy and compassion the previous owners showed and I’m very disappointed.
