Up until yesterday, I thought I didn't need any more counseling and that any further counseling was just wasting my time and money. But during one of my group sessions yesterday, it all suddenly clicked.... They are there just to to accuse you of thing you did not say. They are there to put you down on any positive thing or negative things. I believe they need to go back to school for more education.
I basically begged for more hours and more days of treatment because I was struggling with my recovery and knew I needed additional support. I specifically asked if I could attend three days a week for three hours at a time and not the 2 days for 2 hours because I felt like I needed more structure, accountability, and help staying on track. Went for follow up treatment after returning from voluntary rehab. You walk in sign a paper, and then its off to smoke break. I recived no counciling, or therapy. Only smoke breaks for the groups! However they do feel that I should pay them for wasting my time, and possibly damaging the sobriety I had worked for! If you have a ticket and no intention of stopping your behavior this is the place for you! If you truly need help there are much better options available!
Worst place ever! since I have going here i've had 6 different counselors. This place is BEYOND horrible. If you love yourself do not go here.
