Okay so far. Moved in July 10th. The process was smooth and Barry was great! We really enjoy the complex . The amenities are nice as well! Only issue, it took maintenance almost a month to get to my apartment after putting in two work orders and had to call the office a couple times. They came and still didn't fix the issues. Yet, proceeded to mark the orders as being complete. This comes off as being lazy!
I’ve lived hear for two years and I have watched this place go down the drain. I’ve been making reports for the past 3 months about the work space room air not working. I chose this place because there was the option to have an area I can work and film, but I can’t comfortably because it’s hot enough you sweat. Additionally in my personal unit we have been having issues with our air and garbage disposal. hallways nasty..trash chute nasty..only thing they care about is landscaping...staff is cool...only two maintenance and no groundman...strong weed smells..maintenance takes forever just to come...i wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I had a very disappointing experience with the management staff at The Place at Somerset during the application process. My biggest concern was the lack of urgency, communication, and follow-through. Throughout the process, I was repeatedly told that I would receive updates or follow-up communication, only for those promises not to be kept. My experience with Somerset Luxury Apartments was extremely disappointing and the absolute WORST. They, demonstrated a serious lack of responsiveness and accountability. I applied for an apartment on May 20, 2026 and paid $275 in fees, including a $200 portion that was to be refunded after my application was declined. I was advised that the refund could take up to 30 days. More than 30 days passed with no refund.
