I have visited Somer on two separate occasions. Both were to try and sell used tires then rims. They were in reasonable condition and I thought "can I at least get some money for these?" It wasn't my plan to make big money, but I didn't want to give them away and I didn't want the hassle of private sale advertising and inquiries. To Somer I went. Great services but never answer their phone.
I have used the services of SOM R Used tires quite a few times over the years, and if they have what you want you will get a great used tire for a fraction of the price you would pay new. There is no downside to doing this as tires often fail in the first 6 months and once they get past that they're good to the end of Life of the tire, unless they get damaged. Kyle found me a great deal on winter tires and rims for my new car. He was so pleasant to communicate with throughout the process and gave me a super great price for the tires I got. Not many good business's like this around now a days and I am so happy I found them! Would recommend to anyone looking for tires
What a bunch of scamming jerks!!! I brought in four tires on rims and only asked to have the two rims removed off the new tires and have the tires put on to the rims that are on the vehicle. Anywhere else only charges between $30 and $40 a tire but yet we were charged about $70 per tire plus tax. Not to mention I still have all four tires in my back seat that are still on rims when the tires were removed from the vehicle and scrapped. They gave us two new tires when they weren't supposed to.
