I have been taking pilates with Rachel for about 6 months now. I had a bad injury and wanted to start building muscle and strength back. Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. She plans and tailors every work out based on my needs and challenges me where I need it. She is very professional, punctual, hard working always smiling when you see her. I trust her guidance, which is huge after an injury. She is fantastic!
I started the Mommy and Me Strength classes at SOMA when I was eight weeks postpartum, and they’ve been a game changer in my recovery after welcoming my second baby. Sydney is a phenomenal teacher/instructor/coach/guide — supportive, kind, knowledgeable, and so good at meeting you exactly where you are. The studio itself is stunning and everyone is very nice. I can’t wait to try even more Mommy & Me and Pilates classes. An absolute gem.
I cannot say enough good about SOMA Physical Therapy. One of my lifelong goals is to be able to climb mountains in my 70s. But in my 30s, I developed severe hip pain that left me hobbling up stairs and struggling to walk down the hall at work. X-rays showed a hip impingement, and later an MRI revealed a labral tear. I started seeing Rachel for a herniated disc after multiple doctors told me I should just try trigger point injections for the pain. But, I wanted someone who would actually help me get to the root of what may have caused the disc herniation, and provide me with the right resources/exercises I need to help my back in the long term. I highly recommend SOMA PT!
Really glad I tried pilates for the first time with Emily at SOMA! The class, the instructor-style, and the studio were exactly what I was looking for, accommodating any experience level, welcoming and friendly atmosphere, clean studio, and routines that brought new challenges every week! Class always went by so quickly and felt like the perfect workout. Highly recommend!
