Solterra assisted living was recently purchased by another company. Since that time they have reduced staff and the quality of their services has declined. They also have had a difficult time passing state inspections. If you are looking to place a loved one in an assisted living facility, please use due diligence when inquiring at this facility.

We may have a slightly different’ take’ on our home here at Solterra. For twenty-five years we lived within a stone’s throw of here. We watched these building being built. As the building went up it was obvious that this was a substantial project and not some shoddy ‘fill in this corner lot’ effort. Shortly after it was opened, we took a tour and were impressed by the layout of the whole facility. The transformation at Solterra at Chandler is AMAZING! There is a “new” team doing magical things for the residents. For a year I have watched the culture, the care, and love for the residents refined by the staff led by Dr Charles. The residents, family members, and visitors all have noticed and commented on the changes. My parents have been here for over a year now and there have been some changes all for the better. I can not overstate how kind and attentive the staff is. Since the new Director Dr Charles Seal-Villafranca has taken over the staffing has increased, they are better trained, and the overall feeling has improved. It is nurturing and kind. I am sad to have to write such a poor review because Solterra started as such a nice facility. The truth is that the care for my father declined drastically and we were forced to move him to a new facility in the end stages of his life. It became apparent that Solterra was no longer able or willing to provide the care he needed to even remain comfortable.
