The groups are wonderful, and you will learn so much that helps you in the outside world and in everyday life. If there is one thing I want people to know, it’s that the staff, program aides, and case managers truly care. They make you feel safe and are very easy to talk to. I definitely has some amazing experiences and some that were tough— but the staff is what kept me going. I have to specifically shout out Kara, if the was a rating for her I would give her a 10/5. She is the specific reason I kept showing up each day. She gave me counsel, hope, and honestly a reality check when I needed it. I can’t even express the impact she had on my treatment and overall life. Without Kara’s presence I probably would have just allowed myself to be a lost patient. The Family Support sessions were great. It has been helpful in communicating with my daughter.
My stay at Solstice for the short period was great. Lacey was one of the first staffs to greet me and the last one to see me out. She made me feel comfortable and treated me with such care. I loved her groups! Kara was amazing and always checked in on me, shes a real one. Shout out to Melody too! They all have to a lot and it show. Thank you to all of them.
It’s an evil place that uses your own family against you. They don't let you speak to your family and actively punish you if you cant be in a group (even if you have to use the restroom). This place is absolutely disgusting. I was in this hell for one and a half months. Absolutely the worst facility.
