Terrible place to live; unsafe and loud This has been a terrible place to live, unsafe, and very shady business practices. The reviews are all true: packages get stolen, cars get broken into, no onsite staff, they nickel and time you for everything (parking used to be free, now it's paid after they snuck it into the lease), crows are extremely loud, trains are extremely loud, trash chute is extremely loud, construction is everywhere, and staff is clueless and unresponsive. They have raised our rent by $300 PER MONTH EVERY year for the past 2 years. After living here for 4 years, I'm downgrading Solstice to 1 star due to unresolved safety issues. I'd like to warn the public and anyone thinking of leasing here: Solstice keeps raising our rent on an annual basis but the quality and safety of this place keeps decreasing. Making money is their top priority I've come to realize that the property is finding new ways to squeeze money out of its residents, investing only in places that meet this goal. There was a huge issue with package theft this past year and despite all the cameras in the hallways, Solstice made no effort to review footage of the thief. Solstice Apartments I live at Solstice apartments and have never been so happy with an apartment before. Everything is such high quality in the community that it still feels a little dreamy when I walk around. The amenities are phenomenal and the new restaurants downstairs make getting food and drinks even easier than it was before.
