Incompetent staff The rent might be a little cheaper than other apartments in mission bay. HOWEVER, there is a good reason for that. You will end up with bunch of incompetent staff. My experience was terrible. Denise was rude, Emily (Denise boss), she never called me for follow up. I am not sure if even Denise informed her to call me. Chris tottally incompetent at leasing office. I asked why they did not work on my application on Monday, Arlett said because we just started our week and busy with other tasks. I end up withdra... read more

Business response:

Dear Future Resident, Thank you for your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience. I wasn’t able to reach out directly as your profile details are hidden, but I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. While our rates may be lower than others in Mission Bay, we strive to provide quality service and regret that we missed the mark. Please feel free to contact me directly—I’d love the chance to connect and learn more. Warm regards, Brehyonnia Community Relations Manager

DO NOT MOVE HERE This property management is run by greedy people. The only good thing going for this place is it's nicely located near Crossroads. The community is old and not at all maintained. Maintenance tickets will take forever. At move out, you will be charged all kinds of fees so forget about your security deposit, instead be prepared to pay for the renovation of the unit you moved out of.

Stole my $100 holding deposit Gave them $100 holding deposit while I did my background and credit check. Was approved but didn’t fill out the application. Decided not to get the apartment. Went into the office to get my deposit back and they said they wouldn’t give it to me even though I had my money order receipt and 2 forms of ID. They knew they were stealing it to because they didn’t take me serious at all. I want my money back

Sad to go This is a safe community to live in. I have been here since Nov of 22 and I am really sad to go. The home it self feels like a resort, with washer and dryer, fridge, stove, microwave & dishwasher already in here makes everything so much easier. Maintenance guys are the best! The office staff is great! I like having a garage for my car and a parking space right in front of my home. The patio is nice! The street noise can be a bit crazy sometimes but not too bad. The pool is awesome and so are some of the people you ... read more

Terrible place to live; unsafe and loud This has been a terrible place to live, unsafe, and very shady business practices. The reviews are all true: packages get stolen, cars get broken into, no onsite staff, they nickel and time you for everything (parking used to be free, now it's paid after they snuck it into the lease), crows are extremely loud, trains are extremely loud, trash chute is extremely loud, construction is everywhere, and staff is clueless and unresponsive. Don't be fooled by the low rent prices on their webs... read more

Stay as far as possible They do not have any security. Sketchy folks walking in and out, history of verbally and physically abusive residents. No maintenance, horrible management and abysmal excuses. Too many car break ins and thefts almost.50 cases registered in the past month. And the management does nothing.

Be ready for constant water shut offs Been here about 2 years now. I have lived in apartment buildings that were made in the 1950s that had less problems than here. The constant "emergency" water shut offs that somehow take the whole day. Or the "emergency" water shut offs that happen at midnight for necessary repairs? Tell me, which maintenance person is working on the water at 12am midnight? This place has terrible water and the fact that it shuts off atleast twice a month while we have to pay for water as a utility is pre... read more

Not the safest Future tenants beware leaving anything valuable in your car as break in happen fairly regularly. We've been here over a year and have seen 4 now which is 4 too many.

They have raised our rent by $300 PER MONTH EVERY year for the past 2 years. After living here for 4 years, I'm downgrading Solstice to 1 star due to unresolved safety issues. I'd like to warn the public and anyone thinking of leasing here: Solstice keeps raising our rent on an annual basis but the quality and safety of this place keeps decreasing. This is not a safe place to live, theft (bikes and packages) is rampant, and strangers who don't live here come in and out of the "secured" garage frequently. Just a few weeks ago... read more
