Simply fascinating!!! A truly amazing story. My wife went with her mother and mom's friends. They had a lovely lunch on the property.
The value for the price is just not there! For $39 bucks a person you get a very Skimpy tour where you are rushed through with a crowd of people. The art is cool but you are not given any time to appreciate it. There is no photography inside due to ins reasons…and they can’t take you upstairs because someone stole a watch…ummm secure things better or don’t charge an arm and a leg. Meh. I never like all-cash businesses. Why all cash? Hmm, I wonder. : ) This one is about $80 for a couple. There's an ATM machine next to the ticket counter. It's an interesting place and we enjoyed the experience. It wasn't 5 stars. The Ringling Museum, now that's a 5-star place. The old script used by guides had charm at one time, now it's mostly just old. If you must go, just do the castle. Friendly, no pressure, good food
It's beautiful artwork. But its $35 cash only. It's a guided only tour, which they tell you about the castle and artwork but the groups are so large you really don't get a chance to see everything and then next room you see the few beside you not what he is talking about and then rushed into the next room and miss half of it again.
