one of the worst cookies i’ve ever had in my life it was dry and tasted like sandpaper. very unsatisfied i would never return
Low reviews seem to be from years ago. I thought it quaint . They fetch the stuff for you, instead of getting a tray etc. Some say bland. It's because most Latino pastries are not sweet like Dunkin. That's why I go to them. Sugar is evil. At least they got prices listed. Some don't bother. Support your local bakeries while you can. It really is a skill developed over some time. I've seen many bakeries go down after the old baker died. A highly moral endeavor.
Every time we find ourselves in the twin cities we HAVE to stop and get baked goodies from Durango!!! Such a great selection and everything is yummy. Get the tres leches or anything with apple!!! (Though you can get ANYTHING and I promise it will be perfect)
I ordered a chocolate birthday cake with strawberries. It was beautiful and delicious! Frosting was fluffy and not too sweet. Cake was moist and just right. And the filling with real strawberry bits was delicious! Service was also very friendly and kind. Will definitely be coming back for future birthday celebrations!
Great place. Love the selection of cookies and the bavarian creme pastries! Staff are always very friendly. A great neighborhood spot for bakery items!
