Plate of Slop...Disappointment Veal Marsala was served over my side pasta without asking me if I wanted it this way. Waiter did not offer to correct order with a side pasta with tomato sauce. All I got was a plate of slop with veal and marsala sauce floating over my penne. Who ever heard of eating veal over pasta or pasta with marsala sauce. This is definitely not Italian. Great Take Out This restaurant is right around the corner from home - a great place to pick up lunch or dinner. The subs and pizzas are wonderful. Try the White Pie!
Bring your own Coffee Very bad end to a so so dinner. Went for dinner on a Wednesday night. Food was OK. We were offered a dessert menu and we ordered .My cousin asked for decaf coffee and the waitress told her that they finished the pot. It wasonly around 8:30 and people were still coming for dinner. I guess it was too moch trouble to make another pot! Another waitress suggested a decaf latte for which I was charged about 3X the price of a cup of coffee. Not a good ending to dinner
Second chance Always enjoyed the atmosphere and food with generous portions. After my forth visit we became very ill and did not return for over a year with fear of getting sick again, This was very disappointing because we enjoyed SoloBella However we did return recently to give them one more chance. So far it was very good putting aside that one bad experience. I hope they can continue?
FAVORITE RESTAURANT This byob is a fantastic little restaurant that offers a little italy experiance. Food is always prepared quickly depsite the crowdedness of the restaurant and tastes just right. I highly recommend the veal parm and all fish dishes.
AMAZING! Solo Bella is a quiet little italian restaurant located in jackson. There is no bar but you can bring your own wine. The portions are extremely generous and the prices are reasonable. Before the meal you can expect the homemade bread and oil to be by far the best you've ever had.
Jackson Neighbor The service and food was terrible. The chicken was not fresh and I got sick a few hours after eating there. I would never eat there again!
Very Disappointed We've dined here many times, as well as utilize their take out. Tonight's take out food was terrible. Shrimp parm was over cooked and difficult to eat, the bread sticks were ice cold, greasy and poor tasting (we had to wait for them and told it was because they were coming out of the oven shortly). My daughter who is a baked ziti nut did not like her dish at all and said it was one of the worst she has had. After tasting it for myself I would agree.
