Avoid Dawn Fisher at all costs. I'll update my experience soon. I can say after dealing with Sollars for over two years (not with Dawn Fisher) their level of care has diminished drastically. Find elsewhere since there are so many better places nearby. Save yourself the time, disrespect and letdown! My interaction with Dawn Fisher exacerbated my emotional and mental health. Our twin boys see Lauren Dushane and she is hands down one of the best therapists we have ever worked with. We had gone through a handful of people prior to Lauren, but once we met her and she met the boys, we knew our search was over! She has been able to connect with each of them in her own unique way and has really helped them with their respective needs. Sollars is mostly a sweatshop for newly graduated inexperienced therapists. It is poorly run including bad billing, bad communication and unprofessional. There are experienced therapists there; but not many. Overall Sollars doesn't treat their therapists well except for the ones the owner likes. Therapists aren't supported and the environment at Sollars is contentious, threatening, and punitive. Why should this matter to you as a client?
