This clinic location is in a fairly new building. There is a pharmacy right there, making it handy to pick-up the injectables my specialist treats me with at my quarterly visits. There is ample parking and a handicap accessible automatic door. Doors are problematic to those of us who use either walkers or wheelchairs. My pet peeve is medical facilities without such doors. I'm pleased this clinic is accessible. Reception staff are friendly and efficient. I very much like Dr Bobart.
I was incredibly nervous going to Solis for an iron infusion. Nurses Judeith and Darcy were very understanding, they explained everything and didn't start the infusion until I was completely calm and ready. I wasted hours worrying about this procedure. What an idiot I was! They are very, very good at their jobs. Not a mark on my hand where the IV was inserted.
Dr. Bobart LAUGHED at me when I asked about treatments options I reaserched in the 6 month wait for this appointment, mind you I already have a complete diagnosis and was going in for potential treatments. She belittled me and told me the hobbies I have arent actual hobbies..? Refused to look up my netcare medications history and told me to take both a 6 week and 8 week course on dealing with chronic pain as well as start anti depressants for the pain. Absolute disgrace.

I had my first iron infusion, everything went smoothly. The best price I had found. Blankets, snacks, it was great.
