Our granite countertops in the kitchen and bath have formed dark spots in them, they are only just over a year old and were properly sealed after being installed and again at 6 months. After inspection by Solid Surface Tops of southwest Florida, they stated "We have never seen this before, it looms similar to what we would call oil stains or buildup, so yes we are assuming that is what it is" deciding what to do for over a week they blamed us (the consumer) for doing something wrong and now will not back their product.
