We bought a new townhouse built by Soleil two years ago. In that time, the carpeting buckled (the warranty only lasted a year, and they wouldn't fix it). Also, the boiler broke, resulting in more than $1,000 in plumbing bills, as well as damage to the paint on the ceiling below. We purchased a townhouse (new build) from Soleil. Within a year the floor boards started warping, creating uneven edges. The dry wall started to concave. A wall was never painted where they had to remove drywall to repair plumbing. Window seals were cracked and never fixed (even though promised). The joint wall is paper thin. The tile grouting in master bathroom cracked and when repaired, the people who Soleil had retile our bathroom reinstalled the toilet incorrectly and it now leaks from the bottom.
