Drinks ordered at the bar may increase in price when moved to your table. Tonic for the Times is $9 at the bar; $10 at the table. Some pasta portions are pretensiously small. I overheard their Sommelier, and he seemed knowledgeable but never came by. Bathrooms are for public use, and can be best described as high school in look and seemed to be tended to in a similar fashion.
Food was good, and the wait person well schooled on describing each dishes' unique wonderfulness in the scheme of Southern Italian cuisine. Portions were typical for continental entrees. The service was robust to almost aggressive when we first arrived until we ordered, and drinks and bread provided, then spotty and difficult to attract a server's attention for refills or more bread between deliveries of our entrees. I found the inattentiveness to be the only detraction. Decor was beautiful, quiet and intimate.
