I rented from Benjamin personally for two months. It was the cabin in the back of his residence. It was 2.5 years ago. I’m paying a high price for what was a nasty smelling tiny cabin with junk inside. The floors smelled of nasty dog. The AC unit left in the cabin was filled with dog hair, dander, and grime. It smelled horrible! There was no light in the tiny kitchen so I used my headlamp until I installed a basic light. They were nice but never friendly or sharing or inviting. I had a great experience renting from Solana Beach Vacations. I rented for several months on 2 separate occasions. My contact person, Benjamin, was a straight shooter and very easy to deal with. I didn't have any issues during either stay. My unit was as advertised, so my expectations were totally met. The unit I rented, steps from the beach, was in a fantastic, 5-star location.
We had a wonderful stay in this cute little spot near the coast. Highly recommend.
We had a bizarre and uncomfortable experience with this rental outfit. We rented for 30 days and immediately after moving in found that the place was infested with biting insects and was uninhabitable. They never showed up to fix the problem nor the plumbing problems they agreed to fix. We moved out after 5 days. They refused to return our money and locked us out. We were forced to file a lawsuit. Benjamin acted in bad faith all the way. Beware.
Great space and a super location. Stairs to the beach are 2 blocks away, awesome sunsets. The apartment is spacious, modern, and comfortable. It feels very private. The patio is a nice extra space. Check in was easy, communication was great, everything was as described in the listing. Would definitely stay again.
