This was hands down the worst expirience at a hotel I've ever had. Twice. TWICE, the smoke alarms went off in the middle of the night while my family was sleeping. At 2am, we were approached by the long haired front desk man who immediately started accusing us of doing something in the room. He made me open the door so he could come into the room where my young children were sleeping and continued to accuse us while sniffing and saying he didn't smell smoke, but insisted we were the cause of the smoke alarms going off. The rooms were very clean and the service excellent, the prices very affordable and the location surrounded by shops and restaurants; in my experience, an excellent hotel

That was a nice place. Fair priced and close to amenities. The motel is not new but was clean and confortable. The front desk man was very friendly and gave us good information about the rest of our trip going to Big Sur.
