I could not recommend having Laura as your Doula more highly. We had a complicated IVF pregnancy with Gestational Diabetes and chose to go to a private hospital and take our medical advise from our trusted OB. From the beginning Laura respected this choice and supported us completely. The support and education Laura gave us in preparation for my induced labour was invaluable to us. For our first kid my wife and I just winged it. We had a healthy daughter but the birth wasn't a positive experience for us. It ended in and emergency C-section and my wife being out under a general, so neither of us were present at the birth. My wife was adamant on a VBAC for her second pregnancy and we'd give everything a shot to get her that. Laura was very supportive before, during and after the birth of our baby girl. She provided lots of information and helped us focus on the birth. I would highly recommend her doula services to navigate the pregnancy pathway.
We couldn’t speak highly enough of Laura. As a first time mum the thought of labor can we really overwhelming. Laura was there for every step of the way and nothing we asked of her was to much. She was an such a huge support during our pregnancy and labor. She was an absolute superstar! We would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone looking for that bit of extra support.
I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to Laura for being my doula on my VBAC journey. I didn't met with Laura until the final weeks of my pregnancy as I was unsure whether I wanted to engage a doula for my birth but I am so glad that I did.
