Best doctor ever!
This Doctor saved my son’s life! Words cannot even come to describe this doctor’s intellect and medical understanding. I’ve been to four other internists prior to Dr. Velez, and upon all of them, no direct diagnoses were found and I often felt pushed-around/not cared for by many other prior internists; this doctor is the epitome of perfection. Terrible doctor. Constant mistakes and neglectful. Does not coordinate with the insurance company and other specialists involved with my medical care.
Does not value patients time and seem disorganized, even before office renovations. Very thorough and good at what she does when you get to see her. I would give her more stars if her times were more respectable. It's always over an hour before being seen. I'm a caregiver so my schedule is tight. When you're with an elderly patient, especially one with dementia this can seem like a very very very very very long wait for the client
I can describe Dr. Velez in two words: She cares.. A rarity; an excellent, empathetic physician.
