An entire restaurant full of people sitting for an hour an a half with nothing other than drinks. No communication. After 45 minutes of waiting we were told our food would be right out. 45 minutes later, still no food. The only reason for the second star is I have had better experiences in the past. Many, many people left the the restaurant today with no food. The waitress said this is an "ongoing" issue when I had to find her to pay for drinks. Will be avoiding for the foreseeable future.
My husband and I had both had very stressful morning and stopped here for brunch. The host and waitress were incredibly kind and hospitable and cheered us both up. I had the eggs benedict, and my husband had steak and eggs. Everything was fresh, tasty, and cooked extremely well. The temperature on the steak was exactly what was asked for. We love the food and staff! Hopefully Sol will reopen soon as we can’t find a better place for breakfast!
I've always loved this place, but my last dining experience here left me utterly disappointed. We waited over an hour for our food with no explanation and our eggs benedict were overcooked. I did not request for another egg because we were starving and did not want to wait another hour just for a new egg. but I hope whoever prepares the dish will do a better job next time.
