I loooove SoHo. I haven’t gone in person but I have tried the food truck once and was hooked. I don’t know how they do it but the food is Al away as delicious.
We had SoHo cater our wedding and everything about it was fantastic. Rocky, the owner, was awesome to work with. He is responsive, creative, and willing to work with your ideas. The menu he helped us create was so delicious and we heard rave reviews about the food from our guests, his dumplings are literally the best we’ve ever had. Just tried their food truck and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while. I had tried the teriyaki chicken rice bowl before and wasn’t impressed, but I figured maybe it was just an off day. I decided to give them another shot and ordered the Hong Kong BBQ pork rice bowl. It was shockingly bland. I honestly didn’t know BBQ pork could have that little flavor. SoHo was our wedding caterer and they did a phenomenal job. Rocky (the owner) was a joy to work with. He responded promptly, was very transparent throughout the process, and shared helpful advice and perspective as we were scoping out what we needed from them. The food was fantastic (I heard a ton of positive comments from guests and personally loved the food), and we came in way under the price we were expecting for catering a wedding with 120 guests. I can't recommend working with them enough for catering a large event.
My roommate and I decided to come check out the truck while they were at the Rusty Bee Lounge. Holy shit. The chicken curry was absolutely amazing. And the Mac and Cheese dumplings? I would kill a man for a lifetime supply. 10/10.
