Dr. Rostami advised me that injecting an under eye filler would make a nice improvement in my face. She did the injection with RHA 2 in fall of 2020. The injected are got much worst. I contacted the office and they siad come back in two weeks. I went back and she said oh it looks good, I said no its worst. she said wait, I asked her to disolve it and she refused. I was disappointed in my most recent appt with Dr. Rostami. I had seen her years ago for filler and she had done a beautiful job. However, I have malar swelling that has developed over time that I feel could be related to filler I had many years ago before seeing her the first time. I was hoping with a $150 doctor fee and being an Oculoplastic Surgeon, there would be a little more analysis of my problem. Could it be a lymph issue from the old filler? In September 2023 I noticed a darkening mole below my right eye. A biopsy revealed it to be melanoma, and my dermatologist referred me to Dr. Rostami of Sanctuary Cosmetic Center. Surprisingly, my dermatologist did not know that cosmetic surgeons do not perform melanoma removal surgery. Thankfully, not only did Dr. Rostami understand the process of both cancer removal surgery and cosmetic repair, she helped me find an excellent cancer surgeon.
