Great experience. Dr. Motamed performed arthroscopic surgery on both of my shoulders with nearly 100 percent success. A great doctor and a wonderful human being.
Was having serious shoulder instability issues. Referred to Dr. Motamed. Got an MRI confirming a torn labrum. Had surgery a few weeks after first seeing him. Shoulder felt immediately more stable. Very conservative physical therapy to ensure full healing. Changed my life/fixed me shoulder.
After the first visit I knew Dr. Motamed was the doctor to perform my surgery, if the surgery was the best option. I felt I had a torn meniscus (later confirmed with the MRI). After the first visit and prior to my xray & MRI, Dr. Motamed gave me a list of physical therapy exercises to perform for a few weeks to see if that helped. It didn’t help much. My knee was painful in certain positions. Bottom line, he was not a hard sell on just the surgery. Impressive. I Opted for surgery. Glad I did.
Right shoulder bone spur surgery in 2006. Left shoulder injury scar tissue cause shoulder to freeze up. Surgery to repair in 2015. He has earned my trust.
