Horrible experience The assistant didn’t talk to me the whole time She checked my blood pressure and weight and never said a single word Not even introduced herself Same with the doc, did not listen to me or try to understand my situation My recommendation is to avoid this clinic
I went to an urgent care to which I was referred to DR. Sohail Shaikh. I got my approval and was told to call on Monday. His receptionist stated that this doctor in particular does not take on patients that have ever been seen by any other doctor. She said even if I had been seen by anyone from back in 1980 he would still not take me on. Something doesn't sound right.
Dr. Shaikh is an amazing doctor. I do not recommend is P.A. Annia Guerra. She cannot communicate in a kind manner and raising your voice when a patient is advocating for themselves is never okay. The excuse given of “she is foreign, she gets loud” does not excuse a patient having to yell to be heard and leaving crying. Will only be seeing the doctor for now on. The rest of the office staff and so sweet and caring.
Dr. Shaikh is an excellent doctor. Staff consistently VERY bad with communications. I have been waiting to schedule a colonoscopy for 4 weeks. Left messages with staff....you can almost never call and actually speak to someone....and no one ever has returned my call. Last time I had to go to the office just to schedule a routine check-up and ended up seeing the PA (who I could hardly understand) without being told I was not seeing Dr. Shaikh.
