We bought a soft tub and when we bought it they said that it could be compressed to fit in our basement every year during the winter months. Now 1 year later they are saying the warranty does not cover this is the manufacturer has decided not to do this anymore. We had a verbal agreement and it is written that they would do this each year as for the safety of our family. I give this the one as we have had other issues with the motor that have not been resolved.

In this instance, the agreement for compression was made between the dealer and the customer. This is not, and never has been, a service Softub Inc. offers. Softub Inc. stands behind the statement that, although compression can be done successfully by a knowledgeable person, the product itself is not designed to be compressed. I loved my Softub. Bought it at a fair. Worked great for a couple of years. Then, all of a sudden, the motor froze up. I called to get it repaired in late March. It is now late August and they still have not found time to fix it. I notice they are hiring more people to deliver new models, but they cannot find the time or parts to fix ours. They blame the supply chain. The chain seems to be fine for new models to sell! In this instance, the customer had been contacting their dealer to get the product repaired, only to learn that the lead times were continually increasing. Not even 1 year old and nothing but headaches with the Hydromate/control panel malfunctioning. Purchased a Portico 300 around April 2021 and was delivered around July 2022. Within the first 90 days the Hydromate started having control panel issues, the buttons were none responsive. I contacted evergreen softub and they arranged a replacement directly from manufacturer, which arrived within about a week. I purchased a Softub which arrived with a part damaged. The company stated that they did not understand how the damage could have occurred in shipping, after I sent images, and seemed to blame me for the damage. Weeks went by while their engineering department "tried to replicate the damage" and could not. I repeatedly requested the part to be sent to me and offered to pay for it so that I could finally enjoy using my Softub (all Softubs take 90 days to arrive after ordering).
