I recently opened a Sofi checking and savings account to take advantage of high-yield savings account (HYSA) interest. Online research consistently indicates that Sofi is one of the best options for a HYSA. Very disappointed with SoFi Bank. Customer support takes forever to respond and rarely offers real solutions. They ask for as many documents for a regular personal loan as if you were applying for a mortgage — absolutely unreasonable. The app constantly freezes, and every simple request turns into endless verification steps. SoFi claims to be a “modern digital bank,” but in reality, it’s the slowest and least helpful among its competitors. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I was having trouble logging in on my SOFI account last Thrusday I was excited because my only source of income right now is social security retirement it’s not much 2095.00 I don’t mind sharing that we are all Americans here. So I called the SOFI number and was transferred to a member of the security team. Well long story short he was not an employee and he stole my check all of it that’s all I get for October but it gets better because I disclosed my bank account information to the employee I’m at fault and they dropped me

Hi all. I work for a broker dealer and want to warn you about Sofi Bank. I was a client letting them hold my money until RentCate.com went into 2 of my banks ( Sofi and Capital One) and was able to pull 3 months rent out on March 21st with no warning. After slapping both banks with a Regulation E and on complaints with the CFPB and others, Sofi shut down my checking and savings accounts. I took out a credit card consolidation loan with sofi. Got funded really quick and had my first payment scheduled for the first of October. Checked today and my balance had increased by 129 dollars. They charge daily interest on top of the interest being paid by my monthly payment.
