Disappointing Customer Service Experience I recently had a very disheartening experience with the Social Security Administration. While I understand the employees have good benefits and are well-compensated, the level of professionalism I encountered was unacceptable. I believe that improved customer service training is essential to ensure that all individuals are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. It's crucial for the SSA to address these issues to maintain public trust and provide effective service.
I think this is the first reveiw I have ever written, but I saw all these negative reviews and was terrified of coming in for a name change. I was in and out in under 15 min. The automated phone service is unhelpful, but the workers were extremely kind and efficient. If you can't figure out scheduling the appointment just come in. Seriously, I have never seen a government building run so efficiently.
Think they deserve 0 stars because Im trying to update my bank information on the phone when it is much easier for me and they are saying dumb stuff for they can't do that because of scams and they don't send checks anymore like we have bills to pay so allow people to change what ever they want and stop blaming it on scams because we are calling and we are not scammers
