Calling for info on a deceased relative. The phone system is poor. I called about 10+ times and after a recorded message either got put on hold and after 15 minutes dead air, or a phone ringing incessantly. After calling repeatedly over two days....I almost fell out of my chair when a woman finally answered. I realize they have a high volume of calls and wait times may be long but having calls dropped all the time is not good. The woman was helpful and seemed competent.

Honestly i went in with really poor expectations based on reviews. however, i did my research beforehand, brought in the necessary documentation, and made my appointment online, and was done with my name change appointment in office in less than 10 minutes, including wait time. The staff i interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable about the rest of the name change process with other organizations (WI DMV).
