There is a lady that works at the front desk that is extremely rude. She clearly had a bad day but to take it out on her residents is simply unprofessional. I had an incident with her for merely requesting to receive mail. I’ve rented at a few different places throughout college. As a young professional I decided to “upgrade” and live in downtown. The friends I brought to my apartment all said the same thing I had in the back of my mind, “it’s nice but it isn’t. It’s like an old building w a fresh coat of paint hiding the real thing.” The notice to vacate states the last month is not prorated so I am forced to pay a whole month’s rent and utilities even though I HAVE to be out on the 16th. To clarify, the lease contract states that rates/installments do not represent a monthly rental amount (and are not prorated), but rather the total base rent due for the lease term divided by the number of installments. Amazing Staff, Great Location, Beautiful Upgrades and Amenities!!
As a parent of a student that lived at these apartments I can say I was happy with the accommodations and the security. Also as a parent I can say DO NOT RENT HERE. 6 months later I am still fighting for the $300 deposit and they are coming up with ever excuse not to pay it. I always paid early and never had any issues but when it came down to refunding the deposit they are attempting everything not to pay it.
