UPDATE ON REVIEW: So one of the machines took my $10 bill and only gave me $3.75 back. I called a million times with no answer so I came to fb and left a negative review and they got back to me IMMEDIATELY and explained that no one was at the other location because they sold it. But the owner came to meet me 15-20 mins (he was in Lexington) after to give me the rest of my money. Not only did he do that but he also gave me a free car wash. I used the self wash just to presoak and high pressure wash the road salt off my truck. Presoak was just water coming out, no presoak. High pressure soap had so little soap it didn’t even need rinsing. Absolutely useless!! This is the 2nd time this has happened here, I will not be back. One suggestion; just change your name to Joes because Soapy is misleading.
Had to wait 10 mins for the state car in front of me to get approval that it was ok for them to get a wash. Then they gave them a complete hose off and brush wash the front bumper and back. Then they were sent my through. I paid for the most expensive wash ( not including the hand wash option) they did not brush wash the back bumper and barely brushed washed the front window. So far out of the 8-10 times I've tried Soapy joes I've never been happy. 1-18-18 lost $10.00 on the drive thru That wasn't working. Smh I would recommend driving to Lexington or Frankfort.
No one wants soap residue or bugs left on our vehicles. We paid to have you clean that off and expect a good clean rinse and product. I'll drive to Lexington from now on.
The young guy running the drive-thru portion last night (July 17, 2017) had a really pleasant, friendly demeanor. He was also very thorough with the pre-spray. Just wanted to let you know he's doing a good job!
I'm pretty sure I could have just used a water hose without soap and got better results, considering I couldn't get soap out of the hose, and the brush wouldn't even clean the vehicle due to the brush being dirty and being to soft. Probably the worse car wash experience ever.
Horrible service. Your boys need to learn how to help someone into the belt. They caused me to drive over the track and get stuck. Then people and the other car wash came over to help as your employees just played on their cellphones.
