Tried this place for a month. The 24 hour thing is awesome. What is not awesome is that the services you pay for in an ultimate package are not actually doing what you would thing. Undercarriage and wheel and tire scrub are extra charges even with the ultimate wash package despite being $4 more than the next most expensive wash in town. Wanted to support local and tried but I can’t get them on the phone.

The first time I came here, I went to the detailing stations first. Couldn’t get them to work. Second time, I go to the automatic car wash and I’m in line when I’m allowed telling me I can’t use the car wash unless my hitch is removed. I’ve never had a car wash say anything about my hitch before and I’m not going to removed it for this place. Neither experience was satisfactory either way.

I can’t say enough good things about The Soapy Bucket. This is hands down one of the best car washes in the Howell area, not just because my car always looks great when I leave, but because you can tell the people behind it genuinely care. The whole place is always clean, well-maintained, and easy to use. Everything feels thoughtfully set up, from the wash options to the free vacuums, towels, glass cleaner, dash cleaner, and air blowers. What really stands out, though, is the people.
