The STAFF is GREAT! HOWEVER, the auction process is not. You can bid on a car, win the auction, but still be told “the dealer” will only let the car go for a higher price. FOR EXAMPLE, I bid $5,100 & won. But, the auctioneer came back 5 min later and said the least “the dealer” would only sell it for $6,500 (a $1400 dollar difference). Needless to say, not a great experience. What’s the point of bidding, if you don’t get your bid price? The dealer/auction charges a 15% fee when you buy. My two cars were consigned here last year, and they were sold on January 4 and 26. But this company takes a very long time to pay. It has been one and half months, and they still haven't paid me. The company that signed the contract is called "SELECT LUXURY IMPORTS LLC", and the employees are the same as the previous SOCAL AUCTION company. The long payment time is not a good choice for me. The auction was fun. Cars sell for about 80 percent MSRP but there is a 15 percent up charge from auction location so cars go go for about 5 to 10 percent off MSRP at most. My recommendation would be going in on a Friday and just making an offer on the car you want. You do need to check cars before buying, cars do have electrical problems water damage smoke damage do see cars in person.
