Just bought a car for our son. The whole process was very easy. The car was very clean and the few minor things that needed replacement was done quickly and paid for by the dealer. Very happy with our purchase. Highly recommend So Cal Performance.
The owner and manager, Larry, is a thoughtful and considerate gentleman, who is open to discussion and negotiation. SoCal performance has an amazing inventory of high-quality automobiles based on what I’ve seen.
If you buy a car from SoCal performance be very careful about the Starguard scam. My son bought a car here, and in the midst of signing many documents he asked about the Stargard form. The manager said, “oh don’t worry I’ll explain that later.” My son ended up paying an extra $795 for a vehicle protection system he didn’t ask for or want. This reminds me of the old rustproofing scam they used to pull in the Midwest. If you do business with this company, be very careful.
The people at SoCal Performance provided the smoothest car buying experience I’ve ever been a part of. Butch answered all my questions and is very personable. Lauren (I believe her name is) explained the paperwork clearly and also made great conversation. Anyone I encountered here was great (the pup included). I’m so happy with my truck (my dream truck) and I’m so grateful for the group of people that made the process easy for me.
