Listen, I get drunk in a lot of towns across NY, and this place is BY FAR the best place I have ever gotten shitfaced at. I found lotsa weirdos here. I found myselfe hearing some of my favorite music playing on the jukebox, and my taste is obscure and eclectic. It felt like home. I got to pet several dogs. I can't wait to go back.
Snug's is a great place to bring your grandma, if she's cool. The bartenders, the management are all very attractive. The best thing about them is they kick out the wrong riff-raff whilst playing the best songs on the jukebox. They also force the right riff-raff to stay, singing Spanish lovesongs and serving custard and Schnapps. 10/10 would go there again.
fun loving atmosphere, great people and all around fun time
They were very kind to The Upstarts when we played. I left my snare drum tstand there and they kept it safe for me. Also ..the bacon vodka bloody mary's are off the hook!
I love Snug Harbor. I've been going there since I was a kid. Literally a kid. Good music, good bar, atmosphere, interesting people.
Snug's is a nice size bar/venue, good acoustics for live music and friendly staff.
