I can't say enough good things about the Snowvillage inn! Everyone there is super nice and the food is fab! If you haven't eaten there yet, get there! I just love it...

What an amazing place! My boyfriend and I spent New Year’s weekend here and we got a lot more then we expected. As soon as we walked in one of the owners Jen, brought all of our belongings to the room, made my first time on snowshoes a breeze and everything we needed they had. Unfortunately, I had a nasty cough and Jen went out of her and made me tea to help me sleep for both nights! The food and service at Max’s Restaurant was the best we ever had! We had our rehearsal dinner at Snowvillage as well as our wedding party/immediate family stay here during our wedding weekend. What a beautiful property! We had a lovely stay! The only confusions happened during dinner- my grandfather who is in a wheelchair had some challenges getting into Max's pub, as well as a waitress who tried to tell my friend with celiac disease that her meal wasn't gluten free, when it was. Do yourself a favor and come for a visit. 5 stars all around from hospitality to comfort to peaceful relaxation and stunning views this place really does have it ALL.
We just had a fabulous dinner at Max's - been meaning to come for a long time and it was worth the wait. We will be back. Cocktails were spectaclar (Pear cosmo and blueberry mojito ) and onto dinner of antelope and hangar steak) - and a nice drive from Madison through dirt road backroads.

Very enchanting, quiet, accommodating, friendly, and clean. My grand daughter says it is cozy. We enjoyed the breakfast and quiet surroundings and especially the views.
