Awesome time. Had the shrimp po boy and gator bites. The road is a bit treacherous to get in, but it's definitely worth the drive. Very friendly and attentive staff. The live music was great also. It definitely felt like you were in another world.

It's a fun place. Food is good and prices as well. There is a long-dirt road entering the property. Entertainment is usually there as well. Bring bug spray for kayaking along the river or just sitting having lunch.

Surprised they got rid of the fried green beans and no smoked mullet dip!! Didn't eat ..so the beers were good, pricey!

It's my favorite place near Venice for Old Florida ambiance, country cooking and friendly service. I ALWAYS take my visitors there and they are amazed. Then I take them to Fins to see the fancier side of the Pachota spectrum.

Has gotten too expensive. Also, they tack a 10% tip on all tabs (you have to go get your own drinks) as well as put a tip jar out. Won't go as often as we used to.

Great example of old Florida ambiance! Rustic jungle setting is neat.I'm from the desert southwest so this was a unique experience. Ribs and pulled pork sandwich was great Been there before and as usual, it rained but didn't dampen the spirits but kept the crowd down. Road needs some work!
