I had such a disheartening experience that mirrors that of a previous, recent review. I enrolled my family (Family of 5) at the John McClure Snook YMCA in Foley upon moving the area in Summer 2025. I have never visited the YMCA since obtaining my membership in October 2025. On Monday, 02 March 2026, I was SO Excited to make my first visit and showed up for the 0930 Strength Training class at 0920. The front staff was great. My girlfriend had her bag stolen from the Foley YMCA. The manager and staff have a pretty good idea of who did it, told her to file a police report, and then the manager acted like a Karen and wouldn’t help the officer who came to get further information on the police report. We’re very appreciative of FPD and their efforts. However Snook YMCA absolutely did not respond correctly. This is an unacceptable response. I hate to sound like a typical Karen but this is absolutely ridiculous and a bad buisness practice.
Great for what I needed and everyone has been very nice. I feel blessed here as well as the one in Michigan. Thank You for being there.
Better that any plant fitness or anytime and staff is the best
