I stayed at Snob Hollow for 2 nights in late October. I originally had a smaller room, but due to some maintenance they had going on, I was upgraded to the private apartment next door. It was very nice even if much more than I needed. The location is very convenient to downtown and other nearby locations by door. I walked all over the area sightseeing and exploring in a day and a half logging about 15 miles walking.

It was a lovely space that felt like home during my business trip. It was able to walk everywhere and felt safe doing so. The kitchenette was perfect, they even had a fresh beans and a coffee grinder ready for use! Cannot recommend enough.

I recently booked the penthouse at Snob Hollow when some friends were visiting, and it was the perfect choice for our long weekend enjoying Anchorage and catching up. Whether just hanging out in the lovely, light-filled living room or getting ready for a day downtown it had everything we needed, and more. We were very happy staying there, the owners were attentive and helpful but never obtrusive, and the location can't be beat. It's a beautiful space and I can't recommend it enough!

A very comfortable boutique hotel, located just a few blocks from the downtown area. Very walkable (4 to 5 blocks) from downtown transit bus center, with several restaurants along the way. Only a 5 minute walk to the Alaskan Railroad station, on a well-lit sidewalk, just down the street and around the corner from the inn. A friend I felt very comfortable making this walk in the early morning as well as late at night. So cute. Vintage/unique/ clean/quite/ had everything we needed. Absolutely would stay again, already stayed there twice. Across the street from the 49th restaurant/brewery! 2 short blocks from the train.
