Crowded (and only) San Carlos Sports Bar With a good array of drinks and apps, this is a good local haunt to watch a big game. Plan on waiting for a table, as there's usually a string of people waiting at the bar. The chicken nachos are outstanding.
Sneakers It's a great place to sit down and watch a ball game. Good food at a resonable price. It's a great place to take your family for a casual and inexpensive meal. PROS: Good Food CONS: Gets crowded around dinner time.

Great burgers, family friendly, noisy and lots of sports Sneakers is a family friendly restaurant with a pretty extensive menu. They make a really fantastic mushroom burger - I'd say they are the best in town. Also have a number of entree size salads. Dozens of TVs playing sports so it's usually quite noisy - not such a bad thing if you are trying to muffle the noise of your loud kids. Gets crowded around 5:30 and on on weekends. Really friendly service. Hosts usually recognize repeat visitors.
Home of the "Are you Kidding me" Burger Yes, there is such a hamburger there called Are you Kidding Me. It it is hamburger with everthing and a fried egg. Makes you just want to go out and get one, doesn't it? This place has a bar and many tv's for watching any kind of game that is on. Great Sports Bar and Family Restaurant We have been going to Sneakers ever since we moved to San Carlos in 2000. It was fun then as a great Sports Bar and today it is a great family restaurant for us. It does get crowded in the evening hours because they do have a wide selection of great beer on tap and offer a long menu with every possble bar food item you could possibly crave. Family Friendly Bar and Grill Although in a rather small space, Sneakers is a favorite of our family's. Good burgers, salads and pizzas (and kid's menu!). The staff is friendly and love to entertain the kids!
Plus is the food and family friendly atmosphere. Negatives would be the ever increasing prices, parking and sometimes the noise. It's still one of my favorites though.
Good place to hang out with a buddy for a beer or to bring the family on a weekend for lunch. Feels like a good neighborhood pub where you're bound to run into friends and nieighbors.
