I drove 45 miles from KC and skipped Gates to give this bbq joint a try. I was very disappointed for the following reasons: - slab was dry - I didn’t get any sauce and when I called they told me I should have requested. - I couldn’t describe the taste. It’s pretty much blend. I have to use Gates bbq sauce to give it a kick - Mac m cheese was ok. I was thinking the ham and bacon were mixed in the Mac n Cheese.
