dont bother... – spend your money someplace else!!! they will ALWAYS tell you that you need more things done to your vehicle. i have been there at least 8 times between my wifes vehicle and my vehicle. this last time i got an oil change, and 6 hours later , 1/2 quart of it was on my driveway. do yourself a favor and take your auto to a place where the poeple will be honest and professional with you. i will figure out my issue with my leaking oil tomorrow, and definitly will not go back for any work...
they are what they say they are snappy – Very fast, would recommend to anyone needing there car serviced quickly and correctly. I had my fuel injection serviced by them and they told me it improves my gas mileage, and it really does!! It has already paid for itself.
Pricing problems – As far as customer service, I've had pretty good experiences with this business. However, I received an oil change in July 2007 that cost $39. Prices are not displayed anywhere and they would not accept a competitors oil change coupon because it was not another oil and lube business. I don't plan on returning because of the escalating prices as well as the bogus attempts to sell me additional services that I don't need. In fact, it may be back to doing my own oil changes, as dirty a job as it is!
Unethical business practices! – I was shocked to find out my final bill for an oil change was $115! On May 3rd, 2007 I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire balance and rotation. I was told by the mechanic, Stacey, that his calibrating machine was out of service which meant the tire balance couldn't be done. It was at this time time that my husband and I asked him to continue on with the OIL CHANGE as was requested. Some People – This posting is in response to "Dont Listen". First and foremost I have and as my company and family have been using Snappy Lube since the day they opened, and lady you are so far off course!!. They have serviced my vehicles in a timely and professional manner each and everytime. Not once have they ever completed a service without first explaining it to me and the cost, I do know the recommendations they give me are according to the owners manual and I would and will recommend Snappy Lube to anyone. BEST EVER – I dont know what this lady is talking about, every time I have been there the guys are so nice and quick. I love the fact they check my car over for me, I have no idea what half the stuff under the hood does and its nice to have someone with the knowledge to look out for me. As far as the oil cleaner is conserned, I have used it twice and couldnt be happier. I have been going there for a little over a year and would have no problem telling all my friends.
Don't listen! – The chumps don't listen! I wanted a simple oil change. No fancy monkey business. The guy sold me on the oil system cleaning, but I specified that I didn't want the whole $52 oil change. To my surprise at checkout, he apparently still threw in a fuel cleaning that I did not authorize or ask for. I was required to pay, despite my surprise. I would have made a bigger fuss with the manager if my 4 month old infant wasn't crying, but decided paying the extra $14 was worth getting out of there as soon as possible!!... read more
