Great Local Gym My fiancee and I joined this gym about 2 months ago. We LOVE it! I saw an earlier review that said the staff was rude. That is odd to me as I have never experienced that at any time, and we go 5 times a week. When we used our "week free pass" before deciding to join, we were never "harassed" by the staff which makes me wonder if that was mistaken as rudeness or aloofness. Too small, long waits & bad staff Horrible gym, way too small. If you go during prime time prepare to wait for equipment. Since the staff is aloof and its in a bad area the advantage of 24/7 is a mute point. I like the YWCA much better, much safer.
Kevin makes sweating fun! When I walked into Snap fitness in Decatur in December of 2009, I was extremely out of shape and shaking in my boots. I approached Kevin for help and was expecting him to have no patience or understanding for someone so out of shape with little to no knowledge of gym equipment or general fitness techiques. SNAP FITNESS IS AWSOME! ! No pressure from anyone there. They let you do you. Help is always available if wanted. Trainer Josh is great. He helps you figure out what your goals are and gives you a plan on how to achieve the results you are looking for.
