Dingy with OK service – Dark, and feels unclean.Had bottled beer...hard to mess that up. Server girls attractive but not hot...but they do dress on the skimpy side, so maybe that is the same as 'hot'. Anyway, they have a pool table and Golden Tee live and some other game but they are placed right by the bathroom door...ugh. Upstairs the lounge is cozier.but the sofas and chairs don't 'feel' too clean either. Also, a few guys were smoking by the restroom...seriously...is smoking allowed??

Editorial Review by Marcella Veneziale – The neighborhood near Grand Central boasts lots of overpriced bars and lounges, but this bar offers reasonably-priced, standard fare.

I love Snafu more!!!!! – In Boston..Cheers may be where everybody knows your name..but here in New York..my Cheers goes by a different name..Snafu. No matter what time of day, or what mood you're in..Snafu has something for everyone.. it truly is a jack of all trades bar..but in this case...ill call it a Dave of all trades. I love snafu – First off who ever made that last comment about snafu... u are a hater!!! # 1 your profile or web name "areputablesource" is lame. U are a probally a nobody and trying to hate on one of the only good bars in midtown.

Great After Work Spot!!!! – Great place for happy hour during the week, best nights are Wed, Thurs and Friday... free popcorn and the drinks are pretty cheap.... Friendly staff...

disgusting! – I was told that Snafu had hot bartenders and cheap drinks by a dude I work with. I was horrified to see what this guy thought of as "hot" and "cheap." Ok, the drinks aren't expensive, but they are watered down and just plain bad! Maybe he said cheap meaning they gyp you out of liquor. As for the girls behind the bar, they are not at all cute.... and not at all attentive. Snafu is for loosers – Snafu is full of B&T's who think they belong in the city. The music is terrible and the people are obnoxious. A total sausage fest, this is an eye-sore for the area.

pretty standard – so this place is better than the other after work bars in the area (fubar, connolly's), but it's still kinda cruddy. the drinks are reasonably priced, but the crowd is a fairly bland banker group, and the music blows. worst of all, if you try to select better tunes from the jukebox, they get played for 20 seconsd, then get skipped. the best thing that this place has good going for it is the free popcorn. good for an after work drink, but not much else.
