If I could give zero stars I would. I saw Dr. Smithe for my initial appointment for my pregnancy at Prisma Health OB/GYN. He conducted the routine cervical exam that you get at your first pregnancy appointment. When doing the exam, he treated me like I wasn’t there. Picked up my shirt to do a breast exam with zero warning. Aggressively and impersonally completed the exam, while only speaking to me to order me to do x or y. Just completed my first visit with Dr. Alexander Smythe, and I’m going to say that my first visit was fantastic. Mr. Smythe totally put the meaning in southern hospitality from his warm welcome to the time that I left. I have not had the opportunity to sit down with the doctor or a physician and actually talk about my life and my issues and my concerns and I really really really appreciate the time that he took to talk with me today. I will never go to Dr. Smyth again he made feel really bad about myself because I was pregnant at the age of 42 and the staff made me feel the same way, I felt really bad after seeing him and he really doesn't know what he is doing he's just guessing what to do!!!!
