I have been a customer of SMS for years and when I needed to replace some equipment the owner got on the phone and explained exactly what was needed and why - taking the time to explain how it all worked and then getting me on the schedule the same week. It was a very helpful conversation and there was even follow up to test a different device to see if it would be a better option for me. Scott arrived on the exact time of the appointment. He throughly explained how the system would work. Then proceeded to go room to room to discuss security concerns and coverage to secure those area. He stated we would have an estimate for what was discussed by days end. Also payment options for the system and central station monitoring. He made us feel very comfortable working with his company.
Contracted with SMS to replace the fire and burglar alarm in our commercial building; had a terrific appointment with the salesman and signed on the bottom line. SMS techs showed up a few weeks ago and started the work but could not do anything further as they did not procure the proper fire permits. ((SMS should not have started any work without permits in place.)) Meanwhile, we have been unable to properly secure our building.
