I had a fantastic experience at Smoothie King in Sarasota! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm, positive energy and made me feel welcome. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helped me pick a smoothie that perfectly matched what I was craving — a delicious balance of fresh fruit and creamy goodness. Went in and stood in front of register. Employee comes out, sniffles and wipes snot from nose with right hand. Proceed to take order and help me out. I watch as she takes order and plays with hair/touches face. Goes to make my smoothie, I’m watching and hoping she washes her hands, given she’s clearly sick. Never washes hands. At this point, I’m tempted to ask her to stop making smoothie and give me a refund, because I don’t want to eat her snot or get sick.
