We wish we could say that Smooth Sailing Event Coordinating lived up to their name, and all of the Google reviews that we saw before hiring them for our daughter's wedding. Even with having done so much ourselves beforehand, and having our own crew to set up/take down our reception the day of, simple tasks were not carried out, even when promised that they would be. Had the great pleasure of working with Rachel on a large non-profit fund raising event. The venue was decorated beautifully and so well organized. Her communication, level of professionalism & insuring other vendors are taken care of is what every event planner should aspire to reach.
I worked with Rachel and her associate, Madyson, from Smooth Sailing Events for my wedding in March, and could not be more grateful for them. They did my day-of coordination, and went above and beyond what I expected. Rachel was very helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and talked through all of the logistics and little details with me to make sure we had everything ready to go.
